The Kansas City Chiefs have captured the AFC West title this year. The Chiefs have become this year?s worst to first champions. By defeating the Tennessee Titans, the Chiefs improved to 7-0 at home, and won 10 games this season. The Chiefs had won 10 games in the last three seasons combined.
Kansas City Chief?s QB Matt Cassel tossed three touchdowns on Sunday, bringing his season total to 27. He is three short of the Chiefs single season record, but with a playoff spot guaranteed, I don?t think I?d be all too concerned about it. Play Cassel for a few series next week, and then shut him down. The Chiefs are not going to get better than a three seed in the playoffs. Don?t risk injury in week 17. Chief?s fans have already seen what Brodie Croyle is capable of.
